  • Making Progress...

Well, my cousin finally bought herself a car. So, I have mines back! I'm free to go wherever and whenever without the limitations. Gas isn't so expensive anymore...well, maybe it is when its rising. My cousin also found herself a job. She works at Denny's most nights. Even though, she's trying to do things for herself...its getting to be difficult as far as finding a babysitter in the evenings. I dont watch them most evenings because I work too. I dont know how long this going to last. But, the next step is encouraging her to find her own place.

Also, with me...I have a job opportunity. See, its the same job but with a raise and working with hearing kids. I took it. My new boss is even setting up a job on the side for me during the summer so I wont be without pay. I think this is great after soo many summers of struggling to pay my rent and all. I guess I wont be struggling this summer or ever again.

    God is Good!

    Cramping my style

    Hey all,

Yes, I am still alive. I just haven't found a reason to blog. I do now...but I am gonna keep it short and sweet.

I dont know if you all remember my cousin with all the drama and the kids? Well, as of Oct. my cousin and her 5 kids are staying with me in my one bedroom apartment. Some days are good, some days are bad. I had to share my bed with those kids. Imagine waking up with a foot or a butt in your face. Now, they have their own futon to sleep on, but some nights the one year old wakes up and crawls in my bed. Some days we get out the door on time and some days we dont. Oh yea, dont forget the car...we're sharing my car. Dont worry, she give me money whenever she gets some. She's not there "freeloading". And keeping the house clean is another story. Let me put it this way...you clean one day...the next its dirty again. Oh welll....Lord, give me great patience!

Spring Break is next week and I was going to try to come out for a visit. Someone in DC offered to pay for a ticket but since ticket prices are high. I nix that idea.

    Well that's all folks!

  • Drama, Drama, Drama

    Hey all,

Here I am ....in my co-worker's home at 10:30 at night. I am house-sitting. Their dog, Jezzabell constantly whining, missing her Mommy and Daddy. They will be home tomorrow night. There are pros and cons of house sitting. The pro...you can get paid, eat their food, do laundry and lounge in their house. The cons....the responsibility of their pet and their house. This is my 3rd time doing it for him and the longest. The other times were just a weekend, or 4 days. This time is a full week. Cant wait to get this over with so I can go home to my bed.

Anyways, I wanted to give you guy a little update with me. Well, I got caught in a "Fatal Attraction" kind of scenario.

My cousin had this guy friend....who turned PYCHO. She had met him while her boyfriend was in jail/halfway house program. He was keeping her company. Dont go saying that "She hooked up with him or was in a relationship with him". She informed the guy that she loved her BF and she was open about everything she was going thru with her boyfriend. So, anyways...they were pretty tight....UNTIL he was in love with her and wanted to take the relationship to another level. She told him she didnt want that. He tried again and again. It turned to stalking by calling her phone and showing up unannounced. It got bad to the point that he kicked in MY APT DOOR and beat her up in front of her kids. (I was at work.) She got a restraining order against him. And the police could never find him or serve him. So, she laid low for a while. (Not at my place)

Then when we thought it was safe (After about a month, and nobody knew where he was ) (we didnt know it was him until after he showed his face) ....she was at my place again after about a month...the morning of when I was suppose to leave for camp. He showed up unannounced again. He found out that she was at my place when he rang the buzzer and she spoke thru the intercom....he continue to ring the buzzer a few time every 10-15 mins. He was in the building, but I told my neighbor to be on the look out and call the police if they saw him...so he was mad. He threw a rock at my patio ..but didnt break. He threw a rock in my car windshield and shattered the glass. Of course we called the police, they found him at a McDonalds across the street. He's in jail RIGHT NOW.

That's not all...he stole her van out of her MOTHER's drive way...drove it up to her apartment...broke into her apartment...ransacked it...threw cleaning chemicals on stuff and set her van on fire.

All of this costed me about 50 dollars to replace the lock, 300 dollars in rental car service, 300 to fix the glass and set me back. I dont know if its worth it to sue.

    Any advice??

BeanBag When Marvelous had a lot of time on her hand because Gally was on hiatus of Spring Break. Fortunately for her I was visiting and spend some GIRL time with her. One of our stops were at Tyson's Corners Mall. I couldn't believe how HUGE this place was. We found some bargains while shopping there....

As some of you know I have a condition with my bladder that Marvelous and Reddasaddle sometimes find amusing when I stop in mid-stroll and start to do my "I gotta go to the potty and gotta hold it dance". Often they would see me make a beeline for the little girls room.

This one particular bathroom I didnt notice in my mission, that Marvelous did....What's wrong with this picture?

Marvelous and I found this great store on alternate furnishings. Various sizes of bean bags with different choices of fabric. So, I tried one of the larger one that seems comfortable like a bed....its big enough to seat 3 or 4 people. Take a look below, you'll see how big. It was very comfortable, I wanted to take a nap there.

This is Reddasaddle's very adorable and sweet Mia. She loved playing with me. On this particular night, I was playing with my camera and Mia was curious. So, I took a snapshot. She loved being in the spotlight.

I am very fond and affectionate towards animals. I gave Mia couple of smooches.
